ErongoRocks! Mountain Experience 2020

Friday, 07.08.2020 (ends 09.08.2020)
Erongo Farmhouse & Erongo Rocks Campsite

Get out of your comfort zone and come join us at The Erongo Rocks! Mountain Experience. This is a two day camping weekend in the Erongo Mountains filled with a variety of outdoor activities for the whole family to enjoy.

We want to highlight that these activities are not competitive but feel free to run or ride them as fast as you can. The farm also has marked hiking & cycling trails that you can enjoy at your own leisure in between the scheduled activities. No prior experience is necessary to partake in these activities.

Two nights camping:
The campsite can accommodate up to fifty people without it feeling crowded.  It has three bathrooms each with their own donkey system for hot water.  The staff on site will light the donkey fires twice a day to ensure there is always hot water available.  There are solar lights
available in each bathroom, but feel free to bring your own torch or lamps.

The campsite areas are marked but not allocated, so arrive early to select your spot.  There is 100m2 shaded area on the campsite.  Half of it will be utilized by the caterers and the other half will be available for campers to use for dining.  There will be one central campfire where everyone can congregate around in the evenings.  If you are booking in a group of 8 or more, you may request to book our 'Wild Campsite' exclusively which is 1km away from the main campsite.

There will be three meals included in your stay.  The inclusion of dinner & lunch means it will be
less for you to do in the evenings when you return from an active day and less for you to pack.
Although please remember to bring your breakfast ingredients and your own cutlery and crockery.  We will provide hot water every morning in the main area to fill up your coffee plungers or mugs.

DINNER:                    Goulash with macaroni & salad
LUNCH:                     Spaghetti bolognaise
DINNER:                    Lamb curry with rice & veggies

N.B. Should you require a vegetarian option, please inform us so we can inform the caterers.

On enquiry you will be asked to complete a 'Participation Detail Form'. Please submit your T-Shirt size, they come in X-Small, Small, Medium, Large & X-Large, XXL, XXXL & XXXXL. When you check in you may collect your T-shirt from reception.

You can inform us by completing the "Participant Detail Form' upon entry. It is ok if you decide on the day that you want to add an activity or pull out of an activity, we are flexible and just need to be informed in a timely manner.
